Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Pastoral Rhythm, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Pastoral Rhythm is a care-oriented tool entrusted to churches and pastoral teams. We ask that you use it in a manner consistent with its purpose: to support faithful, attentive care for the people in your community.
Description of Service
Pastoral Rhythm provides a quiet, relational space for pastoral care teams to hold people in mind, share care notes, and maintain awareness of the needs within their community. It is not a task manager, CRM, or productivity tool. It is designed to support presence, continuity, and shared understanding among those who care for others.
User Accounts
When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Because Pastoral Rhythm may contain sensitive pastoral information, we encourage you to use a strong password and to notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Pastoral Rhythm only for its intended purpose: supporting pastoral care within your church or faith community. You shall not use the service to store or distribute content that is harmful, abusive, or unrelated to pastoral care. You shall not attempt to access another community's data or interfere with the service's operation.
Intellectual Property
The content you create within Pastoral Rhythm — care notes, reminders, and other pastoral records — belongs to your care community. We do not claim ownership of your data. The Pastoral Rhythm platform, including its design, code, and branding, remains the intellectual property of its creators.
Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may also suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated. If your account is closed, we will provide a reasonable window to export your data. We would rather walk alongside you than part ways abruptly.
Limitation of Liability
Pastoral Rhythm is provided as a support for pastoral care, not as a substitute for professional counsel, medical advice, or emergency services. We strive to keep the service reliable and available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the preceding twelve months.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pastoral Rhythm operates. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through good-faith conversation first, and through the applicable courts if necessary.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will notify you through the service and update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Pastoral Rhythm after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
